Dennis Hobson has worked with some great boxers such as Roy Jones Jnr, Clinton Woods, Ricky Hatton to just name a few. We currently have a great stable some who are at the start of their careers and are very promising, and some who are further on in their careers and we will be pushing them for title fights in the upcoming future.

NICKI SMEDLEY LIGHTWEIGHT AGE: 25 WEIGHT: 10STONE  About Nicki Smedley Nicki Smedley is trained by his father Chris Smedley Nicki is one of our top boxers with a huge amount of talent Nicki has an unusual style of boxing where his right hand is held very low however we can’t complain because he rarely misses a trick he is quick, powerful and extremely good and dodging and weaving. Nicki has already challenged for a title unfortunately he did not win but it was a real learning curve to see he can box at that level and beyond. Nicki is very confident he could win the fight this time round and so do we.
Career
Nicki has a record of 14-1-0 his only defeat was too Nigel Wright the English Champion. Nicki got the opportunity to face Nigel as he was dominating below and it was time to step it up so we organised a fight for the English title against Nigel Wright. Nigel came away with the win however is Nicki wasn’t far behind. Nicki told us he could have beat him as he was pacing himself and we believe next time round Nicki Smedley will be another champion under Dennis Hobson Promotions. We are Aiming to go all the way with Nicki and we know this can be achieved because he has huge talent.
